62 individually and elegantly furnished rooms at Hotel Reutemann/Seegarten invite you to a relaxing stay. The south-facing rooms offer a spectacular view over the lake to the Alps.
All rooms are designed to a high standard and feature bath/shower, WC, seating area, workdesk, telephone, satellite TV, WLAN and LAN internet connection (free of charge), safe, minibar, hairdryer and air-conditioning. All our rooms are non-smoking and offer mattresses of 100 x 200 cm.

Cancellation policy:
For stays of 1-5 nights, cancellation free of charge until 4:00 p.m. (local time of the hotel) the day before arrival, from 6 nights on 7 days before the arrival date. Please send cancellation in text form. If this is not possible or you cancel too late, 90% of the entire accommodation rate including breakfast will be invoiced. During the “Bregenzer Festspiele” separate conditions apply.

History
Hotel tradition for more than 160 years
The traveller who entered the port of Lindau in 1854 on one of the small steamboats of this age couldn't possibly miss a large, new-built structure adjacent to the old towers and buildings, testimonies of the past as imperial city. This was the hotel he intended to spend the night before continuing his journey with the newly opened railway. Pleasant and welcoming, the white, two-storey
- 1854 grand opening of the Hotel Bayerischer Hof under the direction of the builder-owner Georg Wilhelm Spaeth
- Beginning of the 1920s: acquisition of the neighbouring hotel "Seegarten" by Marie Spaeth
- 1922: Dipl. Ing. Walter Stolze, husband of Hildegard Stolze, née Spaeth, becomes Managing Director of the Familien AG and the hotels
- 1929: acquisition of the other neighbouring hotel "Reutemann"
- During the 1930s: change of the AG into the Stolze-Spaeth KG
- After World War II, the Hotel Bayerischer Hof (10 years) and the otels "Reutemann" und "Seegarten" (4 years) were used as recreation facilities for the French Army
- From 1949 Hotel Reutemann and Seegarten are once again family run
- 1951: Dr. Ing. Richard Stolze becomes managing director of Hotel Reutemann and Seegarten
- 1955/56: finally the family runs the Hotel Bayerischer Hof again
- From 1956: renovation and expansion of the Hotel Bayerischer Hof over a period of two decades
- 1994: Meeting of the finance ministers and central bank governors of the European Union in the Hotel Bayerischer Hof
- 1996: Dr. Ing. Robert Stolze takes over the management of the Stolze-Spaeth-Hotels
- 2004: Celebrating the 150th anniversary of the Hotel Bayerischer Hof

This is how you reach the Hotel Reutemann / Seegarten, Seepromenade, Ludwigstraße 23 in Lindau.
Do you prefer a stress-free and environmentally friendly journey, you may use the train connection to the train station at the island.
If you don't have to use your car every day, the city of Lindau provides inexpensive parking [P+R] on the mainland. A shuttle bus will then take you to the island free of charge. The local reception parking spaces are available for day trippers.

Exit "Lindau" on the A96 and continue towards "Lindau Insel". After the bridge, stay on the priority road, pass the Inselhallen parking lot. Turn left in front of HypoVereinsbank and continue to the train station (Bahnhofplatz 2).
